Dr. Gamal Abdulaziz Sallam

Dr. Gamal Sallam is an Associate professor in Medicine and Senior consultant Gastroenterologist and Hepatologist with experience of more than 40 years in the field. Graduated from Cairo University in 1985 and continued his medical studies in London University, London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine Then joined University of Edinburgh for clinical and teaching studies. worked at the Western General Hospital and Royal Infirmary in Edinburgh. Gained a great deal of clinical and teaching experience from the above mentioned Teaching School in UK then joined Sultan Qaboos University in 1997 as an assistant Professor in Medicine and consultant Gastroenterologist and Hepatologist. Area of interest including Peptic ulcer disease, Inflammatory bowel disease, acute and chronic liver diseases, Gastroesophageal Reflux Diseases, Chronic diarrhea and Constipation, Upper and lower GI bleeding and Diagnostic and Therapeutic Gastrointestinal Endoscopy.
