Dr. Nibu Kurian

Dr. Nibu Kurian is a Specialist Orthopaedic Surgeon with over 15 years of extensive clinical experience in the field of Orthopaedics. He has been serving as the Medical Director of the Al Hail branch for the past 6 years, where he successfully established and developed a comprehensive Orthopaedic department encompassing all subspecialties.

He completed his MBBS from Fr. Muller’s Medical College, followed by his postgraduate training in Orthopaedics at Bangalore Medical College and Research Institute, one of India’s premier medical institutions. He further pursued his DNB Orthopaedics training at the internationally acclaimed Ganga Hospital, Coimbatore.

Dr. Nibu has worked across several leading multi-specialty hospitals in Kerala and went on to complete a prestigious fellowship in Joint Replacement and Arthroscopy at Lourdes Hospital, Kochi. He further enhanced his expertise through advanced training in the United Kingdom, earning his MCh in Orthopaedics and Regenerative Medicine with distinction.

An accomplished academician, Dr. Nibu Kurian is the recipient of four gold medals, including the prestigious Dr. A. A. Mehta Gold Medal (2018), Dr. P. K. Surendran Gold Medal (2017), and the IBOS Gold Medal (2019). He is actively engaged in research and has numerous national and international presentations to his credit.

He is a life member of several orthopaedic associations, including the British Indian Orthopaedic Society.

Dr. Nibu has also undergone specialized training in the UK in cutting-edge orthopaedic advancements, including stem cell–based cartilage repair, platelet-rich plasma (PRP) therapy, and ultrasound-guided injections.
